Beyond the Symptoms: Understanding Long COVID Webinar
The COVID-19 pandemic has left an indelible mark on the world, and while the acute phase may have subsided for many, the long-term effects, known as Long COVID, continue to impact millions globally. Among the populations affected, underrepresented communities have faced unique challenges and disparities that exacerbate the impact of Long COVID. As the world grapples with the ongoing ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, a troubling pattern has emerged: the persistent and often severe effects of Long COVID, disproportionately affecting underserved and underrepresented groups.
Third Ward State of Health and Collaborative Think Tank
The Third Ward State of Health general meeting will:
Provide an opportunity to assess the current state of health in Third Ward by reviewing health data, trends, and indicators to understand strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Provide an opportunity to develop plans and strategies to address health challenges.
Foster coordination and collaboration among stakeholders involved in health-related efforts by bringing together representatives from different sectors, such as healthcare, public health, government, academia, and community organizations to promote alignment of goals and activities.
